Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre, in conjunction with our host organisation a well-established Bundamba based company specialising in the supply of pumps, valves, systems and service of pumps are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Fitter & Turner to enter their operations.

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation who employs apprentices and trainees then places them with Host Organisations.

The Role:

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• You will have a mentor Tradesperson to work alongside throughout your training and development.
• Working on pumps, ensuring Safety, Quality and Efficiency always.
• Use specialist measuring equipment and a range of hand tools.
• Work from detailed drawings.
• Setting up of machinery to enable the manufacture of engineering products.
• Repair and replacement of components, parts or other items.
• Installation of plant and machinery.
• Design and manufacture of modifications to existing components parts and other items.
• Maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Construction and commisioning of work

You will be:

• Thinking Safety before anything else.
• Detail oriented.
• Have wonderful time management skills.
• A positive mental attitude and willingness to listen and learn.

Mandatory Requirement: Must be an Australian Citizen or have right to work in this country

This apprenticeship is in a Skills Shortage Trade
